Purdue University engaged Ayers Saint Gross to conduct a series of concurrent planning and design studies, including a master plan update and a housing master plan. The master plan aligns Purdue’s physical campus with the goals outlined in its strategic plan, Purdue Moves. The plan integrates Purdue’s culture, initiatives, and recent projects and plans into a comprehensive and implementable plan for the campus. The housing master plan takes a deeper dive in fulfilling a goal of Purdue Moves to house 50 percent of its undergraduate students on campus. The plan recommends sites with the best potential to increase the university’s housing inventory while strengthening connections across campus.
The Giant Leaps Master Plan builds on Purdue’s 150-year history and looks to the future.
The Purdue University Giant Leaps Master Plan provides a framework for the physical campus to support Purdue Moves and the giant leaps the university will undertake in the next 50 years.
The plan focuses on connectivity, collaboration, vibrancy, sustainability, and flexibility.
