Ayers Saint Gross is currently designing the first two phases of the Innovation District Master Plan. The first phase is an Innovation Center that houses Brown University’s School of Professional Studies; Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC) – a company that provides incubator space for start-ups, entrepreneurs, and innovators; and Johnson & Johnson, among others. Together, these anchor tenants will foster innovation that act as a catalyst for research and development. We are also evaluating three sites for the Phase Two building – a 250,000 SF office building with lab space. The signature building will act as a gateway, welcoming visitors, residents, and employees into the district with street-level retail and a lively streetscape.

Rhode Island Gov. Gina Raimondo hailed the project as “the start of something transformational.”
