This facility is a showcase for modern nursing education, housing technology-rich clinical learning spaces including a comprehensive state-of-the-art simulation suite. Classrooms are adaptable, supporting both traditional lecture and collaborative learning, and flexible, allowing for the testing of new pedagogies. The new building accommodates all School of Nursing space needs, and allows the school cohort to grow to serve the changing needs of the Auburn community and regions beyond. The design incorporates the institution’s Georgian-inspired architectural vernacular, resulting in a distinctive solution that seamlessly knits this contemporary and innovative building into the campus fabric. The project was designed in association with Stacy Norman Architects. Find out more about this project from our Auburn University School of Nursing book.
