State-of-the-art performance venues in this arts center draw audiences from the campus and surrounding community. Neoclassical elements, including a domed ceiling, are inspired by the Georgian-style architecture of the university to enhance the public spaces. Acoustics, lighting, materials and colors are fine-tuned to meet the specific demands of the 480-seat proscenium theater, 220-seat recital hall and 350-seat orchestra rehearsal hall. These spaces are supported by a theater rehearsal facility, 32 practice rooms and administrative offices for drama and music departments.
