Ayers Saint Gross is currently designing the core and shell of an Innovation Center that will house Brown University’s School of Professional Studies, a large established business, and Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC), a company that provides incubator space for start-ups, entrepreneurs, and innovators. These three anchor tenants bring together academics, start-up entrepreneurs, and business executives who provide mentorship and funding to newer companies. This compelling mix will foster innovation and act as a catalyst for future research and development. The building includes District Hall, a flexible gathering spot with meeting rooms and dining to encourage collaboration. This project is a part of the Ayers Saint Gross master plan for the Providence Innovation District.

Rhode Island Gov. Gina Raimondo hailed the project as “the start of something transformational.”
