The University of Virginia is pursuing phased replacement of the Alderman Road community – 11 first-year residence halls built in the 1960s. Planned new facilities include seven new residence halls, totalling 838 beds, and a commons building. Ayers Saint Gross was selected to develop bridging documents for design/build procurement for Halls 1 – 5. Ayers Saint Gross is taking the design of the halls and common building through design development and will remain involved during construction documents and construction administration.
