Ayers Saint Gross is transforming Atturaif into a world-class tourist and UNESCO World Heritage site through architecture and urban design. The Atturaif Living Museum is located within Salwa Palace, home to the rulers of the first Saudi State. The visitor experience begins with an elevated walkway through the palace ruins. Exhibits tell the site’s story through the use of text, sound, and projections. The backdrop of historic mud brick walls are visible so the visitor maintains a strong connection with the powerful historic setting. High-tech exhibits create an engaging and educational experience for visitors. Exhibit Design and gallery renderings by Studio Adeline Rispal.
