Our Graphic Design studio specializes in the design of visual communication systems that shape relationships between people and places. Our expertise includes design for environments, publications, and brands. We specialize in information design and identity design, environmental graphic design, signage and wayfinding, as well as marketing and fundraising collateral.

The Graphic Designer will work on a variety of project types and play a key part of a small creative studio that benefits from the resources and opportunities of a larger multi-disciplinary framework. Responsibilities

  • Work both independently and collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Communicate directly with internal and external clients
  • Define visual communication goals and articulate how they are supported by design decisions
  • Work with guidance and direction from direct report and senior leadership
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of projects from concept through implementation
  • Create and maintain graphics for the corporate website (coding experience is not required)

Administrative Assistant/Receptionist

Tempe, Arizona

Ayers Saint Gross is seeking a motivated Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to collaborate with client-focused design professionals in support of the firm’s administrative, executive assistance and marketing efforts for the Tempe, Arizona office. The ideal candidate will play an important role in supporting the leadership and project teams in daily office operations and marketing and business development efforts. S/he will need to be an efficient and quick learner and an enthusiastic team player who can adjust to a variety of working styles. This person must be detail-oriented, organized, a self-starter, have excellent verbal and written skills, and work both independently and in collaborative group settings.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors, answer phones

Environmental Graphic Designer

We are looking for an Environmental Graphic Designer to join our Graphic Design Studio in our Baltimore office. You will be a key part of a small creative studio that benefits from the resources and opportunities of a larger multi-disciplinary framework. The Environmental Graphic Designer will work with and learn from peers and leaders from around the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, and document a variety of environmental graphic design project types including wayfinding, master planning, signage, and integrated interior graphics
  • Travel as necessary for research and field work. Extensive travel is not anticipated

The Project Architect will work with the Design Team in the development of architectural projects from concepts to construction documents, with emphasis on the detailing and documentation of materials, technology and systems. Senior Project Manager

The Senior Project Manager works directly with the Design Director and Principal-in-Charge in the execution of the work, as well as assists in firm development duties.

Responsibilities

  • Works independently and oversees and plans the major aspects of architectural projects.
  • Focus in Project Management, Design, Construction Documents, Technical Specifications, Construction Administration aspects of Project Delivery.
  • Provides overall guidance on project objectives and concepts.
  • Supervises, directs and evaluates work of other architects and technicians.
  • Participates in company promotional activities including client contact, business development, and proposal development.
  • Includes interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of related experience
  • Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills, ability to plan and deliver complex projects in an interdisciplinary environment.
  • Familiar with architectural concepts, practices, procedures, final documents, specifications, materials and construction practices
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Architectural Registration preferred
  • LEED accreditation required within 12 months
