HIDE
The design of the Art and Design Building provides the flexibility to accommodate changes in teaching methods and curriculum. The facility includes administrative and faculty spaces, a gallery, education classrooms and studio spaces for painting/drawing, digital arts, graphic design, sculpture, photography and printmaking. There is a lecture hall on the entry level, along with a student lounge and café. The design incorporates an industrial character, combining pre-cast concrete, brick, metal panels and engineered glazing systems.
