The University of Arizona Health and Sciences Educational Building (HSEB), a $136M ($99M Construction Cost), 264,000SF, six story project designed by CO/Ayers Saint Gross, is targeting LEED Silver Certification and will open in time to welcome students for their fall 2012 classes.
The recession hit the construction industry in Arizona worse than in most states, and the numbers remain tenuous at best. There are signs, however, that more projects will break ground this year and into 2012. One such project is the Arizona Board of Regents Health Sciences Education Building, designed by Ayers Saint Gross and CO Architects.
